School District 115
Grande Reserve students attend the highly regarded Yorkville Community Unit School District 115. The onsite Grande Reserve Elementary School opened in the fall of 2006 as the flagship school for Yorkville’s new K-6 configuration. GRES is a K-6 grade school that also houses two Special Education Programs, Life Skills, from Kendall County Special Education. The K-6 model was suggested by our Citizen’s Advisory Committee comprised of community members, parents, educators, and other school personnel.
Both Yorkville High School and Yorkville Middle School are just a short drive away. Higher education is also easily accessible from Grande Reserve, with more than a dozen colleges and universities located within an hour’s drive.
